The identification card plays a vital role to the Canyon Springs High School student. Students are expected to carry their student ID card with them at all times so they may identify themselves as members of the high school community. The ID card is required for student access to library materials and the issuing of textbooks. Students are expected to present their ID card upon request by school authorities and are subject to disciplinary action should they fail to comply.

The student identification card will also contain the following information:    
1.  Off campus lunch permits, when authorized by parents (Grade 12 only)    
2.  Free or reduced lunch when approved.    
3.  Authorization to ride the school bus when approved.    
4. The cost of replacement for Student Identification Cards is $5.00.    

Parents must come to the office to sign the permission slips authorizing students to leave campus at lunch (Grade 12 only) or for a short schedule.
